FLY-IGHT privacy notice

For the Watch / Play Yuta / Play Kurourushi experience.

What the game processes

FLY-IGHT uses one essential same-site cookie to keep your browser’s fight and optional leaderboard submission together. The cookie expires after 30 minutes without activity.

In Watch and Play Kurourushi, the server sends TypeSafe’s Jev a bounded text description of the visible fight so Jev can choose an action. It does not send Jev your nickname, cookie, IP headers, opponent image, Fly neural activity or hidden game state. The Fly controller receives only a simplified opponent image and runs on FLY-IGHT’s server.

Leaderboard

Watch has no leaderboard. If you choose a playable mode and save a result, the nickname, time, remaining health and round score are browser-reported. Winning entries are public for up to 30 days. Losses are retained privately only for aggregate win/loss counts. The game shows an opaque removal ID only to the submitting browser after save; keep it if you may request deletion. Do not enter a real name if you do not want it displayed.

Retention

This public controller uses anonymous PostHog usage analytics and masked session replay. Replay may capture public game artwork, the HUD and the displayed brain visualization. Leaderboard nicknames, score status, removal IDs, form inputs and neural input images are masked or blocked from replay.

Questions and deletion

Email privacy@usesidecar.com. For a score-removal request, include the opaque leaderboard entry ID when available. A completed removal deletes the leaderboard row and redacts any still-retained private session copy of that submitted nickname and score. After the browser session expires, FLY-IGHT may be unable to link a score back to a person without the ID.
